First Day at the MTC

This is pictures of our room at the MTC.  You couldn't ask for better accommodations.  It is only a month old and is very very nice and clean!!!
You can see our luggage on the floor before we unpacked
I have a feeling that we are not going to have it this nice in Armenia.  However, we are very much aware of that fact and are indeed willing to go and serve regardless of the accommodations there.

On our first day here we are very excited to be here.  The organization is superb and it is amazing how things go so smoothly!!  We get all of the paperwork, badges, introductions, Q&A sessions and a welcome that is so comfortable and reassuring.

There were approximately 45 senior couples checking in to day alongside us.  What an experience.  It was fun to be introduced to everyone there one by one and see where they were from and where they were going.  All over the world!  Some to Peru, Bolivia, Africa, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Armenia (Ha!), all over the U.S. etc.  There was Elder and Sister Chan from Kennewick and guess who else?  Any of you remember Jody Powell (Dean and Carol Powell's daughter?)  She is here and is being sent to Chile.

The food is good here.  It is great being here.

We want you all to know that we are aware of the prayers on our behalf and we are grateful for your support and love.  We love all of you.  We will let you know more of what we are doing in the days to come.
